    Where to start organizing shop

I actually read the OP's thread to his garage build. I envy the size of his garage/shop:bowdown: 4 Activities are mentioned: general welding; sheet metal work; working on his Jeep and WOODWORKING. Noting against woodworking but unless he has a good dust extracion system, the 1st three...

None of my neighbors park in their garage.

I do not have a workshop for tools, but I do have tools. It is more difficult to carry my cars away than my tools if left outside. At least the cars are underneath a carport in front of the garage though.

    My patio cooler

On another note, I did mention that I initially wanted to extend the front on the patio cooler to accept a sunken wine cooling bucket. Unfortunately I already cut the wood before I scrapped the idea. Not wanting to waste good material, I made my wife a present. The inspiration was thanks due to...

    My patio cooler

Thanks. What was the most rewarding to me was the fact that I steered away from wood related projects all my life and I could see the end result as I went along. By no means perfect, but it was never meant to be perfect

    My patio cooler

Hi Driftpin Thanks for the compliment. The patio cooler was already put to use with the Christening of a grand-daughter and I did receive good compliments as well. Hurricane Irma certainly was one hell of a *****. I feel for those who suffered losses as a result. Hope you were not too badly...

    My patio cooler

The cooler box did not have a drain plug and after some thought, I decided to use what was readily available with having to go on a spending spree to buy fancy fittings. After all my aim was to use whatever I already had as for as possible. :) Fittings of a wine box came in handy :bounce...

Spot on it is a small band saw. It's called a Meat master so I presume it was meant to cut meat. Total height is 500 mm. I reckoned if it cut cut through bones there will be no problem with wood :)

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Back to the brake problem of my SIL's Nissan Hardbody. The leaking brake fluid was as a result of excessive piston travel. Here is why Yeah :shocking: This pic should feature in the WTF thread :lol_hitti Anyway, new seals (no signs of wear in piston pots) and rotors were fitted. Brakes work...
