I detail, paint correction, as a side gig for the last 15 years. I don't use a rotary, don't need one really. I have a Flex 3401. Absolute workhorse, also have a GG6. With todays compounds, polishes and pads, they can get the job done. Rotary machines still have there place but I do ok with what...

Getting ready for my oxy/acetylene class...

Keep working on the welds, you will get there. Takes a lot of practice and time to perfect. As soon as you think you have it, you will mess something up. Technique, heat, and speed are the big 3.

Just got my new Leatherman Wave and Crater Knife. Last knife i buy from Leatherman.

I have owned Spyderco knives since the early 90s. Some of their knives have a nylon, plastic handle. This is done to save weight, and it lowers the price. I had one with the plastic handle attached to my dive harness, worked great. If I lost it, it wasn't such a big hit like the all stainless...

I can absolutely see a boilermaker wearing them. I Have 4 retired uncles and a few cousins out of the NJ local. Enclosed area, nasty stuff. I just never wore any of it, never gave it any thought. If I was worried about that and every other thing that I was exposed to, I would drive myself crazy...

My buddy has that jack, it does the job. Always lower the jack down onto the safety. He had his bike on that jack overnight and it lowered during that time back onto the ground. Front forks where off the bike. Scary deal when he walked into the garage in the morning. I need a jack or a lift but...
