Just picked up an arbor press at an estate sale yesterday. There's a Made in China sticker on it but absolutely no other markings. I'm guessing its about a 3 ton unit and shown are the dimensions. It's 23 inches tall, 18 inches long and 8 inches wide. Any ideas? And maybe a mfgr? Thanks!

I got this at an estate sale and was wondering if it's for a Model T or something from that era. The open end is a 9/16" and the large opening measures 2 7/16" across the flats. No markings whatsoever on the wrench. What do you think? I should add that it's definitely not homemade.

So, what exactly is a security hinge? A quick check on the HD site shows hinges with a nub on one plate and a hole to receive the nub on the other. Is the idea that if the pin is removed, the plates still cannot be separated?

Yeah, post (6 x 6) is in concrete. Single layer of brick. It would be ideal if there was a stud right behind the brick I plan to drill in to. I'll have to investigate. Hmm, multiple 'L's. I like that, for now. Let's see what others have to say. Thanks all, so far.

The hinges aren't adjustable. They're just lag bolted to the door and the post. Do you think whatever anchor bolts I use to attach the strapping to the brick will pull out eventually?
