Tekton screwdriver handles - can't decide!

Not a comparison, but a superficial overview of the hard handles. the #2 and up fit like a glove. I like hard handles as they are easy to clean after grabbing them with greasy hands.

Snap-on XFRM wrenches. Who has them?

I have the GW Spline drives. Going on 2-3 years now. At the time all I could find in the super long flex ratchet box wrenches. Now I see these guys, flank drive 12 pt, I like! Who has them, and what are your experiences with them?

Finished out my 3/8 SAE sockets from 13/16 up. Smaller ones are all SK, but i cheaped out and went tekton for the bigger deeps and craftsman china on the 2 shallows. For that sizing i go 1/2” drive anyway but, cant stand to see naked tool posts, ahem..missing 3/8dr 1/4 deep

Wood stove side exit thru pole barn, not insulated

Quick update, ill be doing with the Safe T vent line from Menards. Cathedral ceiling adapter with a boxed in frame so the decktite rubber boot can be screwed thru the metal into the wood, and about 5' of double wall stainless pipe. That, plus the damper (my stove doesnt have a built in...

These obstruction wrenches are absolutely indispensable, and I keep this exact set in my travel tool kit. The best for hot side turbo work. Not possible with any kind of normal flat wrench on my 8.3 cummins turbo. Maybe some of them offset things would work where you put a ratchet on one side...

Trying out the Ernst low pro wrench racks. Need to either tape em down or at least try a spacer in the back to prevent em from sliding when i slam the drawer.

Looking for a nice screw driver set

I beg to differ. Cheap screwdrivers have very brittle ends, soft shanks and sometimes they simply are not machined right-resulting in easier cam-out of the fastener head. Im not even talking dollar store stuff either..

Wood stove side exit thru pole barn, not insulated

Regarding the insulated pipe just before the roof-you are referring to an uninsulated space right? Ditto on fan. Also putting up heat shielding on the walls with a 1” spacer to help reflect heat back. im still torn on location..corner is least obtrusive, but chimney would have to be very tall...

Wood stove side exit thru pole barn, not insulated

i have been thinking about this. Being that im still not insulated, its not a problem. But for down the line id have to upgrade anything above the trusses to a dual pipe. As mentioned, the stove is in a corner, so only about 1-2 feet between the rafter and ceiling. would that pose any issues?

Wood stove side exit thru pole barn, not insulated

Currently the pole barn is not insulated. So ill be going thru a thin layer of corrugated steel for my side and up exit of my 6” single wall wood stove pipe. Is there a thimble product made for this kind of application? also do they make some kind of long supports for the chimney running...

Lining pole barn walls with aircrete. Vapor barrier?

Heating climate. will be running a wood stove inside. Possibly forced air natural gas down the line once ceiling is insulated. I dont think it is very permeable..but frankly I don't know for sure. The way I will be filling the wall, I expect it to have >98% contact with the metal structure...

Lining pole barn walls with aircrete. Vapor barrier?

Ill be mixing up some air crete and making a form so i can line the 5” cavity depth of my pole barn (3.5” width of main poles, 1.5” 2x4 purlins) with this mix. Its portland cement, shredded styrofoam, borax and foam all mixed together to form a very rigid, light, insulating and fire proof...

Pretty much the entire drawer is new save for the deep 1/2 impact and shallow sae 1/2 sockets. The empty 1/4 magrail posts are reserved for 1/4 drive 6pc koken nut gripper set. Now my backup cart gets all the mismatched old china sockets.
