    Goo Gone is Great

You got me to thinking so I checked and the stuff we have isn't Goo gone either, it's called Lift Off. I still prefer naphtha.

    Goo Gone is Great

Goo Gone is okay but it's oily and smells, I prefer Naptha.

Wood or Electric or LP/NG for your heat.

A heat pump is about 1/4 the cost of propane for me.

    Propane or oil?

Between those 2 options, propane. Now I live in a warmer climate but a heat pump is almost 1/4 the cost of propane for me. For a shop, even in CT I would think a heat pump would be sufficient.

Woodworking Parallel clamps, advice on brands.

I have Jet and Yost parallel clamps, they are different but the same. I have no preference. Buy a good brand when you find them on sale, which happens once or twice a year.

    Best* garden hose nozzle

My wife is hard on them so I don't buy the expensive ones. She takes them on and off constantly for some reason and loses the washers and I find the nozzle half buried in the yard full of dirt. I buy 2 new ones every spring.

Sealing wooden workbench top. Epoxy? Polyurethane?

Use a waterbase polyurethane floor finish. I know, I hated them for years but they've come a long way. Now they are nearly odorless and fast drying.

    Amazon Warehouse Deals

It's based on what they can see when grading it. In my experience they don't open the box so it could be a pristine box with a cat turd inside and marked like new, or a box that looks like it was blown up and the thing inside is untouched. So random.

    Amazon Warehouse Deals

This time last year most of the warehouse stuff was broken, damaged, or the wrong item entirely. I don't even bother with anything less than 50% off.

Re: ★★★ voice your opinion on the hot deals forum ★★★ Forums can't participate in Amazon Affiliate so that isn't a concern. I don't know why, it's dumb, but Amazon makes the rules.

What is the best method to drill into hardened steel?

Carbide for drilling. If the metal is thin you can punch a dimple and grind it off.

Is chainsaw the top 5 dangerous power tools?

Might have been said, but if you want to see something really scary -- look up commercial pressure washers, especially pipe cleaners. In a safety demonstration a guy shot a piece of 3/4 plywood from 10 feet away and knocked a hole right through, like it had been hit by a cannon. Then we saw the...

    Selling tools on ebay

It's not just ebay. Having run stores for a long time, about 20% of customers will be PITAs, 10% will try to get something free or a better price, and about 1-3% (depending on the business) will try to swindle you. But yeah, ebay ***** too. Their fees are way too high for the risk involved. I...

Huge Felo Giveaway from KC Tool!

Favorite is probably my Festool sanders but if power tools don't count then I'd have to go with my Wera screwdrivers. Some people don't like the handles but they fit me perfectly.
