    Amazon Warehouse Deals

 Might want to keep it on the downlow, I've heard that in the past people were threatened with banning for posting too much in hot deals. Just a rumor though. Why does saving money create such controversy. Rhetorical, don't answer that. Just wanted to say thanks.

Trying to unhoard the hoarder's hoard with the help of a horde.

I found that if I take everything out (of the shed, the shop, the room, the truck, whatever), a whole less goes back in. Kind of like that TV show from the 90's where they would take everything out of a person's house, spread it out on a big tarp, then give them a tarp about half that size and...

Post signs that declare i have video cameras watching you an my property or not ?

Definitely post signs. We had a few thieves going around our neighborhood a few of us put up cameras and made it known. Anytime something happened, we posted screenshots on Nextdoor and gave them to the cops. A few people were arrested and that pretty much squelched the robbery problem. It's...

    Lathe Bench Design

I had one and used it for a couple years. Converted it to variable speed with a treadmill motor. I like my modern lathes better but it was a good lathe after taking it apart and cleaning up the insides.

What can a Table Saw do that a Radial Arm Saw cant?

The table saw is the most versatile machine in a woodshop. The only tool even close is a router. That said, the OP has both RAS and TS now, so why ask the question if you already own both? If you use both, you already know the answer. If you only use one, you already know the answer.

    **** Tools

When I was a young man, I could buy Japanese made socket or wrench sets for a couple dollars at Jone's Boys, the equivalent of HF back then (70's). And they were junk. Wrenches would spread on anything remotely stuck. Sockets would turn into circles. America made some junk back then too but it...

    Ceiling Fans

Similar situation came up in conversation recently and one of the switches was the wrong type and I think it was wired backwards to boot. Sorry, can't remember details but that might put you on the right track. But yeah, pull the switches and make sure they are right.
