cost to rebuild snap on 3/4 Torque Wrench

I've actually done this a lot. I used to be a Proto dealer for the oilfield and we'd get a lot of 1/2", 3/4", and 1" ratchets in to be rebuilt. We were actually looking at becoming a certified shop at one point. We'd send them a local place here in Houston. Any shop that rebuilds them will...

Largest wrenches needed in Automotive/Light Trucks?

I've got a lot of extra large 1" drive stuff that I'm looking to sell right now in the classifieds. The reason being is I seldom ever see anything super large and I work on all kinds of equipment. For metric the largest I have had to have is 36mm. I think I've used up to 1-11/16" in SAE sizes...

Should you die, what's the plan?

I managed the catalog and purchasing for a large industrial distribution company that represented all of the industrial brands and got great pricing. I stocked up on Proto, Wright, Snap-On Williams, Channelock, Klein, you name it. I also got lots of nice free samples. The one thing I...

1" Proto Torque Wrench, Williams 1" Dr Socket Set, Air Compressor Motor

I have some stuff that's taking up a lot of room in my garage and I'd like to sell it or trade it. For trades I'm looking for rolling tool boxes that are at least 50" wide. If you'd like me to consider a trade just let me know what you've got in the way of a tool box. I'm listing these tools...

    high quality portable toolboxes?

My metal boxes that are made by Proto and Williams work well and have held up to a lot of work. I have a Craftsman as well that is flimsy compare to the aforementioned brands. I also use a few Klein tool bags that are very durable and have served me well.

    In-floor Scissor Lift Install

Looks good and a very slick install. I wish they'd make one that could lift 8,000 to 9.000 lbs. That way I could lift my trucks with weight to spare.

    Lean to for compressor?

I did this as well. I made mine 3' deep and 8' wide. It works great and I can keep a few other items in their as well. I did put a little vent fan in mine that turns on when the air compressor is on. Just to vent out hot air.

How to care for cordless tools

I got one of my Milwaukee impacts re-cased by Milwaukee a year before the warranty ran out. The case was cracking (mostly from being dropped) and I felt like it didn't have the power it used to. They took it in, put a nice new red case on it, a new trigger, and new brushes. All for free. So...

Tool chest review - Sears, Tractor Supply, Lowes, Home Depot, Harbor Freight

I'm glad to hear the Milwaukee toolbox is "ok" as I've been looking at it. I still think I'll probably wind up with two Harbor Freight 56" boxes though.
