MaxJax: what's supposed to be included?

I got my MaxJax a couple months ago and never gave much thought to what I was supposed to get with it. But remembered it was supposed to come with a lift point guide, which I never got. Is the motor cycle adapter supposed to be a standard feature? or an option?

Group Buy for a Powder Coating gun

That's a good point. I'm just trying to organize a group buy, I'm not in this for a business of selling powder guns. I just trying to get this gun for $750 (700), instead of $1,000. It's about $150 a unit shipping from China, if I knew somebody there who could potentially ship it cheaper...

Group Buy for a Powder Coating gun

They are based out of Hangzhou China. As far as a distributor there is not one I can find, I can only find it from an internet retailer. I actually found the manufacturer was from China because of a forum post the retailer made saying they were getting a new gun to demo from China, so I...

Group Buy for a Powder Coating gun

it's called "hot flocking" if you have problems with the powder sticking due to the electro static charge a cheap trick to do is heat the part and apply the powder when it's warm around 150 degrees F. The part will be hot enough that the fresh powder should melt slightly and stick. It's...

Group Buy for a Powder Coating gun

from what i've read, the best tips for getting good results are pateience and SURFACE PREP. lol. Non adjustable guns should give fine results as long as you are doing single coats, doing multiple coats might get a little hairy and may require you to powder the part when hot.

Group Buy for a Powder Coating gun

me too, lol. It is a lot of gun, but after doing a lot of research on various powder coating forums it really seem to be a great peice. Especially seeing videos of it in action compared to more entry level guns. The general concensous seems to be to stay away from the less expensive guns due...

Group Buy for a Powder Coating gun

I'm not sure if this is the right board for this but: I've been looking to get into powder coating and want to get the best gun I can afford, and this looks like a great gun, but I can't afford it for it's retail price of $999.00. It looks like the same gun as the King Coat with Hopper, I...

it's a long story, but basically whoever made the plans F*$%'ed up and while the house was being built the ceiling was sagging so the beams were put in as afterthoughts. It's basically holding up the 2nd story floor. The garage was supposed to be one big door. Anyways in the other picture you...

low oil drain pan for use with MaxJax?

the more i think about it the more fishy it sounds. A lot of states have laws that state any place that does oil changes have to take back the oil, I'm surprised there is a limit to it. I've also heard that in some states any place that sells new oil has to take the old stuff back, like...

low oil drain pan for use with MaxJax?

I dunno if you have sewage or septic, but if you have sewage call them and ask if you can dump Coolant down the drain, a lot of sewage plants can process anti-freeze and say it's fine. Or so i've read on other threads. Me, I'm a sneaky devil. I pour all the oil back into the bottle they came...

I have a friend who's an aerospace engineer and I asked his opinion before I ordered the thing, he said at least the anchor bolt calculations check out and they should be ok to handle the weight. He couldn't speak for the rest of the lift as there were no specs on it, but he seemed to think it...
