Now isn't that something... Clearly amazon had some NOS. In the meantime, B&S fired all their employees, closed up shop, sold their forges. Got a huge order from amazon, which they easily sourced with Indian made pieces. The most amazing part is how they charge $57 for the set now!

I've always wanted a pair and I bought them from Zoro tools with the 40% off, came out to ~30. Still in packaging, but I'll open them one day. Next to them I also have a 24" craftsman adjustable wrench. Can't get those anymore!

My impression is that the chrome is a lot lighter and softer on the GearWrench sockets/wrenches when compared to the made in USA Craftsman sockets. And I do not mean is as a compliment. I have several gearwrench socket and wrench sets, all miserably scratched up just from laying in the bag...

While I would certainly find things I could order, their thoroughly broken and otherwise useless website has prevented me from doing it. Result??? $$$ saved!!!

I have a set of craftsman ignition wrenches. They're stamped steel and they're thin. Made in USA too. Might be a good alternative for what you need, they just don't go to big sizes.
