Can someone explain the advantage of using the L-key hex versus a hex screwdriver bit or hex socket? This is tempting, although I cannot really think of a good application for this.

My favorite is the 145 piece 6 point set. At times, you can get it on sale for ~$90. The 145 pieces are actual pieces, not screwdriver bits and countless allen keys. I see it for $140 now, mine does not have the easy read laser etch...

I think all of the sockets are USA still. Nice set, but waaaaayyy to many 12 points! When would you use any of them?

Please don't get me wrong, I will not the the one to insist that made in USA is somehow vastly superior to the things that are not. However, my reason for buying here is to support the workers and companies that keep the jobs and manufacturing base here. I simply make this vote with my dollars...

In a way yes. If it was USA, I'd jump on it even it I did not really need them... Now, this is money saved.

I think it is still way too pricey. Even at 40% off that we had on cyber Monday, their prices were somewhat below competition, although nothing spectacular. I think with these prices there are still better deals to be had.

Just ordered $300 worth of stuff... The worst part is that when time comes to use a screwdriver, I end up using the cheapest ugliest Chinese thing that's right next to me! Got the 17 piece rack, magnetized computer set, a couple of ratchet sets, and a safety pack. I still question why I look at...

I'd love to see this happen but I'll believe it when I see it. Other than pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches, and pry bars, the rest of the tools will be China 100%. I think Sears still has massive stockpiles of their sockets, so these will stay as new old stock for a while before their...
