How do you get the plastic handles off without destroying them?

Its maybe 2-3in tall, I can measure tomorrow. I cut the feet off it so it would sit flush and so i could could one of the more shallow drawers.

I made these from a modified dish drying rack form walmart, I dont rememeber how much they were but they were cheap.

In this case def keep them, their like part of the toolbox now.

The make some decent tools at good prices, thats the reason I have them in my toolbox.

MAD has it right, thats what I was trying to get at.

I think you also have the spring in wrong, turn it so its the other way, when you turn the cover plate it will go back into the ratchet head.

That pin on the cover plate has to fit into that hook part on the spring, then you have to slowly turn it to till in fits into place, it might take a few tries.

I bought the 1/4 and 3/8 swivel head ratchets from harbor freight, I like them so far, no complaints. I actually like them better then the gearwrench, the harbor freight have a quick release button, and I like the handles better.

Not bad for $15
