    Stopping feasting squirrels??

We were plagued with hundreds where I worked and used this combo: Road flare in their dens, esp in spring before the little ones pop out. Live trap with bait after the grass dried out and we couldn't use flares. They will die in the trap within an hour or so in the sun. Cats/dogs will keep them...

So I tried to cut my junk off

Im echoing your caution to think ahead of the potential of the tool we are using. I have had a couple of recent strikes and some close calls with a 4 1/2" handheld grinder. Using a variety of wheels. It's a pain to suit up for a small job but the consequences are worth it. Your suggestion of a...

    WRIGHT Speeder

Did not know there was(is) a Wright Tool Co until I picked this speeder up today. I'm not able to date it but it is consistent with the specimen on alloy artifacts site. Model MN-15, 3/8" drive, plain steel. It will fill the void in my Craftsman collection until I can find a C-Series speeder.

Another thought if you don't have access to a punch is to use 3/16 welding rod. Easy to hold in place and cut off after the weld. The copper backer works well, I have used pieces of copper bus bars from electrical panels (free). The sheet metal disk are problematic to hold in place esp way up...

1/4" is pretty small. Welding them in is the way to go. Either fill completely with rod or tig /mig in little plugs. As it is the weld is harder than the body steel and you must grind carefully. I've recently started using a 2" cutting disk in an air grinder. It is effective to work small...

    Ceiling Drywall Direction

Echoing the tips given: 5/8 or rated equivelant for added fire rating, but 1/2 shouldn't sag on 16oc. Use a lift. Much easier unless you have hung allot of Rock. Tees sound easy and cheap but in the long run a lift will save you allot of time and get better job. Keep your joints tight. Make...

Best way to protect trailer wiring?

I've had success with protecting the wire in pvc or emt conduit. Use inexpensive multi conductor wire. Connections boxed and sealed if needed i.e. boat trailer. High corrosion environment you can use nolox or similar on the grounds.

On the topic of other Craftsman wrenches, does anyone know if Craftsman made an offset wrench like his one? 1/2 drive 11/16 12pt. It among other uses enables head bolt torquing with out removing the distributor on a Model A.
