Will this Masterforce 60 gal air compressor be OK for running die grinders? Is there a better option around this price range ($575 w/ rebate)?

Thanks, what would you consider high demand tools, or what specs on die grinders do you think I should look at as the limit this compressor would run well? E.g. max 1/2 HP, or max 6 cfm? I'm thinking I can get away with this unit because I'll be using spinning tools almost exclusively for...

Will this Masterforce 60 gal air compressor be OK for running die grinders? Is there a better option around this price range ($575 w/ rebate)?

Very helpful, thanks. Yeah exactly, I have only used smaller portable units before so this is all good info, nobody at Menard's had any clues for me. I did have an electrician add a second 220/240 circuit and outlet in the garage For the regulator, does this is the regulator/filter they'll have...

Will this Masterforce 60 gal air compressor be OK for running die grinders? Is there a better option around this price range ($575 w/ rebate)?

Thanks, I'm usually wearing the nitrile coated knit work gloves but will keep that in mind as I add tools

Will this Masterforce 60 gal air compressor be OK for running die grinders? Is there a better option around this price range ($575 w/ rebate)?

Do you know if it doesn't come with a power cable or any of the hardware like valves, pressure regulator, etc? I tried to buy it but the Menard's employees were all confused on this point. I've never seen a compressor that just comes with a threaded hole in the tank, and nobody in the store...

Will this Masterforce 60 gal air compressor be OK for running die grinders? Is there a better option around this price range ($575 w/ rebate)?

Oh right ok. That Quincy 216 it turns out has a replacement motor, 3hp Smith & Jones (Harbor Freight). That's 0.6 hp less than the Masterforce, and the seller says it's 11.5 scfm, 130 psi. So this is a less powerful unit than the Masterforce, unless the big box store brands have inflated ratings?

Will this Masterforce 60 gal air compressor be OK for running die grinders? Is there a better option around this price range ($575 w/ rebate)?

Here's another option available used local to me, a Quincy 60 gallon that looks clean, model 216-100. $450 OBO. I can't find much info about this model, but the seller says it's 3 HP, a bit lower than the Masterforce. Quincy seems to be a good brand though, is this worth considering instead...

Will this Masterforce 60 gal air compressor be OK for running die grinders? Is there a better option around this price range ($575 w/ rebate)?

Thanks, do you know if they use cheaper parts on some of the big box store versions, or how is Menard's able to offer this model so much cheaper than equivalents?

Will this Masterforce 60 gal air compressor be OK for running die grinders? Is there a better option around this price range ($575 w/ rebate)?

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for those. I see they have a 115 degree angle model, good to know there is a good one available for reasonable price new. These are the grinders I have so far, I don't know their hp ratings, but they're a Dotco and a Japanese made mini Astro Pneumatic, which looks to...

Will this Masterforce 60 gal air compressor be OK for running die grinders? Is there a better option around this price range ($575 w/ rebate)?

I'm new to air tools, so don't know much about what to look for, but my impression is around 60 gallons and 8 cfm is the minimum recommended for die grinders. I had a second 240v circuit installed in my garage since it seems all the decent ones require it. My main use case is surface prep on...
