Looking for a socket adapting extension

You could try something like this with a regular 1/2 in drive extension.

Ares 20 piece socket accessories set. Part # 40003. Having my new tool box, I'm trying to stock it with the things I need in the hangar without digging through my road box to find it. I travel a lot and mainly work out of a Pelican case and I would like to keep my road box just for that. When...

The Vessel 2 way L bar came today. I can tell now that I'm going to use the **** out of this thing. If it performs as well as I think it will, I'll get another one to put away in case something happens to this one. Edited to add- Already used it. House was hot when I got home this evening. Used...

Lets make an all vintage Snap-on tool picture thread!

GM 70M 1/4 drive ratchet. From what I can see, it is from 1951. Still works good to be 75 years old. I will take it apart for a good internal cleaning and a little Super Lube.

    Let's see your toolbox.

Delivered Thursday and just unloaded it at work this morning. Organizing stuff is a work in progress.

Drilling a bolt for a safety wire or pin

They make jigs for drilling them if you are set on using safety wire.

Time for a new tool box?

I just got a 73" Icon in black with the steel top. Still sitting on my trailer as I go back to work in the morning and will get it set up. Hopefully we are not busy and I can get it done. I think with the videos I've seen and the comparisons to Snap On, it was a good choice for me and my budget.

UPS man just left me this Snap-On 1/4" T-handle wrench. I ordered this for a specific job that we will be doing often. If it works out like I hope it does, I'll get the other sizes to complete the set. Olivia seems to like it.

After watching that video, I can see myself using that a lot. I'm going to get one.

    Snap On T-handle box wrenches?

I have not used them, but ordered a 1/4" one the other day. We are doing pylon inspections and replacing the pins if they fail on a bunch of aircraft. We have to take isolation blocks off of the fuel and hydraulic tubing running through there to get the pins out. Not a fun job and if this wrench...

Scan tool with no/minimal annual fees

Just ordered the Innova 7111. Coworker connected his to my truck and I was impressed with how user friendly it is. I debated the Autel mk900, but paying for updates was the deal breaker.

Not really new as I bought it about 2 weeks ago, but I really like how this performed.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Installed new TPMS sensors on my wife's 2013 Toyota Prius. The dashboard looks funny now with that light being out.

Picked up a HF tire bead breaker. I'm going to break the beads just enough to replace my TPMS sensors tomorrow. I figured the price of the tool is worth it instead of going to a tire shop. Plus I have the tool for "next time".

    Handheld Pruning Shears

As already mentioned. Milwaukee M12. I bought one for my wife as she has arthritis in her hands, but she zips around the property like Edward Scissorhands with that thing.

Cheap little automotive relay tester. I have a bag of various relays and tested it out. Works good and will keep it with a multimeter in my truck toolbox.

Stainless Cable Ties - Tool Required?

I purchased this one last year and have been pleased with it. Pulls tight and the silver handle is the cutter. Plus it came with ties.

I'm in the M12 game now- What next?

I highly recommend the M12 pruning shears. Saves your hands alot of work especially if you have arthritis in your hands. My wife loves them.
