    Harbor freight markets to posers

If a tool does what I need it to do consistently, I don't care if it says Fisher Price on the side. My box at work has a plethora of different brands. We do have some die hard Snap On guys, but that is their money and their choice.

What is your favourite tool to use

Can't officially use it yet as it needs to be calibrated, but an 87v is going to to quickly become a favorite upgrade from a 107. Calibration is due the end of this month on the 107, so I bit the bullet and purchased the 87v to swap it out with.

    Tractor Loader 3rd Function

I went with a W.R. Long kit and installed it myself on our TYM T264 for using a grapple. The kit was well put together, but the instructions for installation was a little confusing. The dealer I ordered it from offered to install it for a fee of course, but honestly, I don't want someone else...

What crimper is used on these **** connectors?

Anything Daniels / DMC is pricey. I picked up a pair of environmental splice crimpers from Jready on Amazon and have been very pleased with them. They even came with a go/no go gauge and function just as well as Daniels.

    Homemade Tools

Found a short video on YouTube that explains it. Add a little valve grinding compound on your apex bit and it works even better.

    Homemade Tools

I made a El Brutus "Johnson Bar" several years ago. It comes in handy on the road when you don't have shop air and a screw knocker.

    The Facom Tools Thread.

Picked these socket adapters up years ago (I forgot where) when I was a flight mechanic on the MD11F. The low profile comes in handy.

Replacing front rotors and brake pads on my new to me 2008 F350 in the morning. I have a feeling the rotors are original to the truck and they are not going to come off willingly.

    New guy from Tennessee

Hey guys and girls.. I've been lurking on here for a while and finally joined up. I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to tools, so I know I'm in the right place. I've been an aircraft mechanic for 19 years and the airline I was with closed my maintenance base in 2014. I did contract...
