This might be the best 18v cordless tool ever..

Makita should have the new impact wrenches out in the states soon. My favorite Makita cordless would probably be the ML800 headlamp, it is great for camping or when it gets dark while fishing/hunting. Some things that would be interesting might be a cordless finish nailer, coil roofing nailer...

If you don't own an ultrasonic cleaner, I suggest you get one.

I use Simple Green Crystal for my mixture. It is made without that scent and washes off much easier than the regular SG. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ULLGRU?keywords=simple%20green%20crystal&qid=1447321284&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1

Winter is coming... who owns a manual snow plow/pusher?

Get a used M2 flamethrower from the auctions and just melt the snow. You can use it all year around for other things too. Seriously though, those shovels do look like they will break after a few uses or get rusted over the summer.

Why Aren't There Any Snap-On Torture Tests?

Well it isn't published in the US so if you never heard of KTC, Stahwille, Hazet, Bahco is quite normal. I am pretty sure they wouldn't want to touch any of our Craftsman made in China tools.

    Loctite 242 50ml

Open cap, pull the tip up to open... aint rocket science so i didn't mention it. I also never said 290 was better in break-away, but it holds better because it has the 250 in/lb prevail vs 43 in/lb from 242. Try removing a nut from a 4" bolt with a wrench, you will take much longer with the 290.

    Loctite 242 50ml

I am pretty sure i know how to use loctite since i have gone through a few bottles. As for 290 strength, yes it is weaker on paper, but 290 gives you a 100% seal from one end to the other. Another thing i notice is that 290 feels a bit gummy after you break it loose and there is still good...

Suggestions for "heirloom" sockets and wrenches, with 200 budget

A small set of metric and sae wrenches alone is already over $200... For the budget you want, maybe used tools on eBay or the classified will do.

Metric or sae crow foot - which do you use more?

I have a set of both and the Metric gets used more often. Also, you do know that the Tekton crows don''t have the locking dimple right?

    Loctite 242 50ml

I doubt they would let me empty the bottles in store and checking the weight on a gram scale might be the best bet. It isn't opaque enough to see through even with a flashlight. Maybe i should just go and exchange it with a bottle that feels heavier since i haven't use it yet. On a side note, i...

    Loctite 242 50ml

I just picked up a new bottle of 242 and when i proceed to squeeze some for first time use, nothing came out... The nozzle is still clean so it should be new, but after opening it up, there was less 1/2 inside. I went to check my used 50ml bottles of 290 and 545 and they are over 5/8 full. Is...

Buying new nail gun, which do you recommend?

First nailers i got were Bostich coil frame and finisher, but both had leaking problems, replaced the gaskets and leaked again next month. Now I got all Hitachi nailers over here and that was what was recommended by our private contractors. I have the coil frame, coil roof, finishing, brad...

    Tools of Japan

The ones on bottom are a different brand and the 17x19 is exactly 16" long. The pictures actually look normal on my tablet. You might have to right click on photo and select "open in new tab" or something along that line to view it correctly.
