My 7 year old 20 Gal 6HP Porter Cable manual suggested to drain the tank regularly. How often is regularly? I only use it 3-4 times a year when I'm rotating my tires or blowing my sprinklers and have drained it after each use. Is this a bad thing? I rarely use the compressor. :dunno:

I used the Rust-Oleum gray basement kit, got it on sale for $50. Still looks good and its almost 2 years old.

I was just curious since this small one is obviously much easier to carry and wouldn't want to waste it. I have a bigger 20 Gal compressor in my garage I use for my other air tools. I don't know when I will be doing some moulding work but who knows, I might end up getting one of those combo kits...
