    Built a Jib Crane

I had kicked around ideas about building elevator style lift in my pole barn to raise my dirt bikes up onto a mezzanine and a shelf. after a bunch of designs and back and forth, we switched gears and decided to do something simpler. As we had limited overhead room, I went with a Jib crane...

    Septic System

It is SUPPOSED to be full.... Do some research on septic systems and how they work. After they pump the Solids out, they refill with water. Bacteria breaks down the solids. A good designed septic system should go for a long time without needing pumped. (our shop one went 24 years with out...

    Did a little plow repair

Had to do a little repair on one of our snowplows ! The front nose pivot area completely broke out of the frame ! It was an early model that had too thin metal in this area. I beefed it up with heavier plate.. And of course it always happens at 3 am when its a blizzard out !! Bob

    Tempered Glass Windows- Home Inspection

I had the same issue with a house we bought to use as a rental. The window company told us the same thing. Natural Gas vs Hot Water Heating

I have wondered what the difference would be in a forced air Nat. Gas furnace or a Nat Gas water heater used to heat your garage would be ? The forced air furnace would use gas and fan. The Water heater would use gas and a pump. Wouldn't it cost more to pump water than blow air ? Anyone...

    Motorcycle Garages Only

Pentons were the early KTM's. John Penton wanted a light 2 stroke that handled good to beat the big heavy 4 strokes. He went to KTM with ideas and they made them from 1968 to 1976. After that they became KTM only. They were top of the line bikes for years. The whole Penton family raced and...
