    Drop Light

I dont have a 'real' drop light. I bought one of the Blue Point small round swivel LED ones tonight. I'm fairly impressed by it. I also have a 3D cell mag light, a 2AA streamlight, and a Big Red pocket light. All come in handy.

    Does anyone buy single wrenches?

When I used to fix small engines, I would buy 10mm and 1/2 inch stuff religiously. Not much need for 11mm or 9mm wrenches, but I have ratcheting 10mm, open ended ratcheting 10mm, half socket wrenches, ets. Flex sockets and other things were also some of my favorites. A lot of 10mm on small engines.

Today could have ended up MUCH worse

This lift has a 'brace' that connects the two posts. I dont know if it's structural or not, but it is there. The concrete was extremely sandy, but according to the concrete guys (who are a contractor for the company) says that is nomal and ok.

Today could have ended up MUCH worse

They came in, cut a 4'x4' section out, filled it with concrete they made out of bags of concrete, and let it sit for a week. No skim coat. its about 1/4 inch below the rest of the concrete. They came in two days ago and put the lift back in place and apparently now its 'functional'. No idea if...

    Mac Tool Trucks

Our local Mac dealer went out of business. I was at another shop and saw the Mac guy pull up. I hopped on real quick in my uniform and explained the situation to him and asked if he had any catalogs. Apparently he hadnt recieved them in 'a few months' and couldnt help me. I hopped off the truck...

Toolbox drawer liners – on the cheap

I like the look of that I/O carpet. My box has the OLD liners that came with my box originally. I've been thinking about getting some of the Walmart liners, but I'm not sure about it.

Today could have ended up MUCH worse

Well the company concrete guys came in yesterday. Apparently code for the shop is only 4.5 inches of concrete, but we have almost 8 with no rebar. And dragster, no offense taken.
