Every time I see “ULEZ tax”, I read it as ULUZ. But that’s tax’s in general now isn’t it. I thought I had it bad paying $10 USD in tolls/ day driving 26 miles round trip in CALI-rodo. I just wake up earlier and get my 3 pedal therapy in w/ the LS1 ;-)

I don’t care if gas is $10/gal. I’m burning dead dinosaurs until the day I die. Hell, I already buy race gas by the 55 gal drum for my 70 LT-1. Don’t even get me started on the “all in” costs of running EV. They only become the norm if people cave into it, until their A/C doesn’t work in August...

I deal with sleep apnea in my profession. IMHO, CPAPS are the new “lift chair”. All about the $$$. Next step is medications that will “ cure” your restless nights 🤫

It will, right when it gets hot. Northern Calirodo has felt more like Wyoming this spring. Sh*t blows east evidently.

I remember back when you had a built in paint booth in the back corner of the shop. That was one slick set-up. I plan to duplicate it with a down draft modification when my shop goes up.

Ooooh, I could SO use those. But, have you seen the price of Rubbermaid containers lately??? Good thing I have a couple dozen w/ once used moving blankets in them.

Bob, as long as you don’t hose down the engine and the drain hole in the back of the valley isn’t plugged by Mickey, those LT5 starters live a long life. Contacts can get a little crusty. I’ve rebuilt (2) now “ while I was in there”. Plenum pulls are MUCH easier after placing a couple of 1/4...

Ive used a mild steamer wrapped being a microfiber towel to go over panels like that followed by addressing any unbounded or poorly bonded areas. Works wonders.

I thought I spotted Colorado temp tags. Where did you pick it up from? Side note, I was watching coffee walk w/ Dennis Collins today. He picked up a 66’ vette 15 miles from me.

That’s a great idea from your brother. Can you make it cantilever back & lock in place for some rear end down force when it’s not raining?

Do the inside of the valve covers have sufficient baffling? I had a loose ring LS7 and a vac pump ( bandaid) that filled a 1qt reservoir for every 20 minute track session once. I rebuilt the motor and vented both covers to the dry sump tank. Guess you will find out if you need a catch can soon...

Agreed, I go braided SS whenever possible.although, the H3 alpha has 178k on it now and they’re looking pretty good. You make a good point though.
