12" sliders are HUGE. No wonder they have a lot left over. Wish I could find the compact table saw. With getting a track saw recently my Bosch 4000 seems like overkill for the narrow rips I do and it sure takes a load of space.

1/8" hooks in 1/4" pegboard are terrible and fall out constantly. Make sure you get the 1/4" hooks, they won't pop out as much. Alternatively there are metal pegboards that do not require spacers against the wall. Wall Control is the main one. I'm considering going to those in my garage...

If I didn't prefer a 10" slider I'd have bought the one I saw yesterday. No signs, had to get a price check. Was $200. One on the floor in the tools section and one way up on the pallet racking. Didnt see any table saws though, I would have bought that. Two Notch store in Columbia, SC.

You could replace the ledger board with 1x2 and use it to attach a strip of peg board.
