Go from KRL722 to a HF 72 inch box? Critique?

I have a 722 and my buddy in the next bay has a 72 inch international that he paid about $1600 for. It originally seemed decent but a full year in to daily use has proved much different. The big socket drawer has sagged out so bad that when he extends it he has to support it with his knee while...

    Two post lifting advice

Use a tripod on long vehicles. IMHO asymmetrical lifts really aren't great for bigger trucks.

    Buying a MAC toolbox

Just a heads up.The wrench drawer in those mac boxes ***** really bad.Put your wrench rack in it and anything bigger then about 7/8 will hit on the drawer above.Horrible design.Since you are HD tech im guessing your wrench selection will go fairly big.

    2-POST LIFTS: Asymmetric or Symmetric?

I have 7 lifts in my shop.Only one is an assymetric which is a 10,000# rotary.Overall It works good for cars and small trucks/suvs.I absolutely HATE using it for 3/4s and 1tons.No matter how the vehicle is positioned it lifts like ****.When the truck is in the air it looks like a deathtrap.I...

snap-on tool chest at costco for $3500?

I have been running a snapon box for 25 years.I absolutely love them. But im sad to say that there deal is not a good one at all.Even up here in Canada where we pay more for our snapon tools on average then you guys,I could spend 5 minutes with my snapon rep and blow that deal away.

Forums telling n00bs to go overboard on professional quality tools...

I agree.I am one of them.I just really didn't understand the "decades"part,as if craftsmen had been around so much longer then snap on.
