Get a symmetrical. Period. And I would look for at least a 10. Assymetrical is great with cars and suv's . Scary with long heavy trucks. You will probably be over weight on 1 or more of the arms.

I have a 10,12 and 15 000lb rotary. The 10 is assymetrical. I assure you if diesel trucks are a regular thing for you,you will not be happy. I absolutely despise assymetricals for lifting bigger vehicles.

Guaranteed it is surrounded with concrete. At the top!! Even a very basic jackhammer will make short work of it. A few friends and a mini ex will work awesome.

Not kidding here,but probably the wrong lift for the truck. We have 7 lifts. Sometimes I have to throw in the towel and move the truck to a different bay with a different lift and try again.

You lost me. I'm 20 years in as a tech. Most of my ratchets have been warrantied at one time or another.
