You've sold me on the leather wallets. But before I buy - what is the COO on those? :D

Please point out some of the good deals, for the rest of us who do live in Europe :).

    The Facom Tools Thread.

They seem to hold value quite well. I paid 90€ for the large set - I think it came from Amazon's returns stock. 46€ for the small one - the regular price is around 62€ where I live.

    The Facom Tools Thread.

Inspired by Dave455, I found a deal on those two Nano sets and bought them. One set is labeled USAG, but we know it’s the same. The tools are seriously good. The 1/4 ratchet has minimal play and wobble with a socket installed, it’s very smooth. The design of the cases is fantastic. Can’t wait to...

    Tool brands and buying habits

I can't speak for the rest of Europe, I live in Poland. Tool trucks are nonexistent here. I don't even know what a tool truck looks like! :) But in terms of tool culture, USA is very different. From what I see, there is a huge DIY culture, and tons of people do their own work on cars and talk...

    Tools from the old world

I agree. I'm all about the compromise myself too. I always aim for the optimal price to quality ratio, hence the Wurth tools I own. The hand tool market is really large these days - if you do your homework you can find a lot of value buys. Regarding Snap On - I don't doubt that. I have had very...

    Tools from the old world

I agree with your take on Taiwanese tools. I think sometimes people are too hung up on USA or European made, Taiwanese tools can be on par. What the tool world could really use is some blind testing, because brand loyalty plays a huge role in our perception. As a European I just can't comprehend...

    Tools from the old world

Great info in your post. Would you care to elaborate what manufacturers do you recognise? I was always curious who makes what for Wurth, but there's limited information online.

    Tools from the old world

The screwdriver looks like Felo which is made in Germany, so just as well some of the rest might be too :) I have tools from all three - Hazet, Stahlwille and Wurth. I think you will be perfectly fine with the Wurth set, I bought the same one and that's how I got into this brand. Now I have...

    Show your new tool arrivals

Those sockets rock. I have the 17mm and I love it. Best socket for lug nuts I have ever used, it’s quite thin so no clearance issues. Good purchase, you will be happy with them.

    Ratcheting wrench comparison

My thoughts exactly. It's easy to tell, his tools are way too clean. I would say the same about many other Youtubers. They are mostly collectors. When I use a new tool once to work on my car they are already way more dirty than most of theirs.

Odd tools you never heard of that you find browsing online and then want

PB Swiss coin driver. I actually use it quite often surprisingly.

    Need 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 MM wrenches. What are you using?

I have an E36 BMW and I also have some 16mm fasteners in my suspension/brake system. So it's not the case that they are never used.

    Need 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 MM wrenches. What are you using?

I'm using Facom and they are great. I am based in Europe however, not sure what the price would be in the US though...

    Best Ratchet Wrenches?

I've got two sets of Garant ones, that I think are rebranded Stahlwille. One set with flexible heads, and one is normal. I use the 13mm flexible one the most, for undoing the battery cables on my car. They are fantastic quality and can wholeheartedly recommend them. I'd stay away from Wurth...
