Which Dual Action (DA) Orbital for polishing cars?

You definitely shouldn't be leaning into a machine when polishing your vehicle. If you are using the appropriate pad/polish combination for the job, you should never need more pressure than the weight of the polisher, which should not stop the pad rotations.

Which Dual Action (DA) Orbital for polishing cars?

I have the HF model. It works, but I feel like I need earplugs. It also definitely needs a backing plate replacement. The original vibrates the hell out of my hands. I also have a Torq 10fx. It's a dream in comparison. Either one will work with the right pads. With bad pads you might as...

    Garage Decor

I too have a collection of license plates, but only from vehicles I've owned/driven. So I'm not ever going to make it to all 50 states. I'm sure I have a "California" spare laying around if you need one.

    Craftsman C3 19.2-Volt Cordless 1/2" Wrench Kit-Experience

I have a C3 circular saw that was having trouble with 1/2" laminated particle board on a fully charged NiCad battery. I bought an XCP battery for it and it did the job with ease.

My C3 circular saw was having trouble with some 3/4" laminated plywood, an XCP battery later and it was like a hot knife through butter.

Ryobi One - opinion of current owners?

I liked mine when I owned them, I even had the RARE tile saw which works well. I moved to Craftsman's 19.2V line, which I'm almost certain is manufactured by the same people.

    The next "Craftsman" brand

Wow, this is a weird thread. Original question; I hope that Craftsman becomes independent, and continues to sell in places like Ace and OSH. Otherwise, I see Harbor Freight providing product that is comparable to much of Craftsman's current hand-tool offerings. Single Mothers/Tattoos; That's...

    Older 3/8 Craftsman Drill Press

I just picked one of those up as well. 1970's based on the "crown" logo. There are manuals and parts online if you look up the model number.

    Well, better judgement

I'd be interested in seeing how complicated something could be manufactured with one multitool. But I was thinking more along the lines of people posting without seeing multiple sets of snap-on screwdrivers.

    I'm on board with that.

Does anyone else HATE socket holder strips/rails?

This thread makes me sad, I just finished organizing my new toolbox with similar rails and I was pretty happy with myself. I don't have the money or capacity for the hansen trays though.

    Craftsman tool chest?

It can depend on specifics. If those are ball bearing drawers you could be looking at $150, if those are cheaper roller drawers $100. You can get $100 for the "set" minimum.
