So this old guy at work keeps eyeballing my snap on box

He's always complaining and telling me how I don't have enough tools to fill my 30 drawer box. The problem is I don't need to buy anything since I just borrow his stuff. He has so much he doesn't even know stuff is missing. What's a young tech in debt tech to do?

Jack stands recommendation- Had a harbor freight failure

I remember reading a story about an OSHA inspector who got crushed to death by his car. Apparently a car battery doesn't make a good Jack stand under the tire.

    Good idea?Ryobi as tool investment

Home use and even contractor I seen ryobis do fine. Not the best but a good bang for the buck. Another good alternative is Porter cable if on budget.

What combo wrenches do y'all keep on hand?

I have multiples and favorites of 8,10,13,15,17,19mm wrenches and sockets.

    Sometimes, the imports are better...

Gearwrench makes good stuff and for the price they are hard to beat. I love the knurling on the extensions after owning extensions with no knurling I wont go back. Didn't even know they make that setup you have. I had to tape the extension on to the socket.

What to do... exchanging the 20v Dewalt for another brand or keeping it?

Nothing wrong with the 20v dewalt battery connection. I used mine daily at one job and never had a problem. Now it might get used occasionally but still works like new and battery is great.

Best smaller tool set in a case

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000LWAX2C/?tag=atomicindus08-20 This is my kit I bought when I moved out and no longer had dad's tools. Has pretty much everything you need. The ratchets are really nice in comparison to rp cmans. Taiwan made tools are very good quality.

    Check your Tekton sockets

I had a gearwrench socket that was similar.
