Getting reorganized ahead of some work I agreed to do this winter. There's a few more that live in my truck box.

I think you can buy those as a 'starter kit' for around $280. I don't think the chargers have that much value for a lot of your potential buyers; I think I'm up to 4 dual chargers myself. The batteries are available right now for $160. You might be able to get $200 I'd say, but it might be tough.

    Makita Addiction Thread

I got to put my XSR01 to use the day it arrived (yesterday). I've been needing to install some stair edging in a pantry/mudroom but there wasn't enough clearance. Normally I'd use a planer but I figured why not use the new saw? No issues cutting the door down roughly 1/8", although I wouldn't...

    Makita Addiction Thread

I saw, but for me it's not really a great deal. I already own one of Makita's top tier impact drivers, and it's nearly as compact. The short track certainly has its uses, but it can't even crosscut a standard 4'x8' sheet. Combined with a 55" guide rail it will be useful, but the 55" track would...

Well, I jumped on the saw kit +2 batteries. Was hoping the track saw would have a similar sort of deal this year but this will work.

    The Bosch addiction thread

For me, the only exception is when purchasing a cordless tool. I've been on Team Yellow (what my dad used), Team Red (the tools my friends used), and now on Team Teal. If Makita doesn't make a cordless version that gets good reviews, then I buy the best corded version regardless of color/brand...

    Makita 481 vs Hitachi DV18DBL2

I have the XPH07, which as best as I can tell, is the US version of the 481. Mine is a beast. I've been very happy with it, and it hasn't skipped a beat. I use mine with some large auger bits in bigger timbers and you definitely need the side handle to control it/keep it from breaking your wrist.

    Woodworking 101--Tools and Tips

I like your logo quite a bit, and I've used C-Clamps in plenty of woodworking and carpentry applications. If you ever felt like making a second or alternative logo, you could adapt a wooden hand screw style clamp into a C.

    Milwaukee resales in various classifieds.

Home Depot employees do not get a discount. They have access to a third party website that gives discounts on things like cell service, restaurant gift cards, and other local services. I worked for a short time as one of their Pro sales people, and was disappointed that there was no employee...

I love Proto as much as anyone else but.......

I'd reckon it's probably a fraction of one percent. There aren't going to be many purchasers at any company that will buy one of those ratchets, unless there is a specific process that isn't met by a tool from another vendor. Tools grow legs and leave lots of facilities and Proto stuff can fetch...

    Makita XT268T Kit (Drill/Impact Driver)(No Batteries)

These are extras of tools that I already own (and love); I had planned to keep a set in my truck but my 12v stuff does that job well. This kit DOES NOT INCLUDE BATTERIES. I took them out long ago to add to my 18v inventory. THESE TOOLS ARE BRAND NEW. What you get: XPH07Z-18V LXT Lithium‑Ion...
