Those images make me miss my Jeep. I haven't been able to drive it for about a month now. Dealing with state farm has been an absolute nightmare, I came very close to just telling them to go f off and then call my insurance company to deal with it instead. o_O

Amazing work as always! And I think I recognize that new bench tool. :ROFLMAO: I'm glad you found a use for it. Great idea with the set screw, has me thinking of ideas for that set of G4 LS rods I have in my compressor shed. I also have a LS crank and a 5.3 block that's...

Sounded like a fantastic deal. Get them filled while you enjoy some delicious tacos or a brat. Got me thinking air tank vs trying to mount an air compressor somewhere. ;) I also noticed this little bracket. You know I have been trying to figure out the best place to mount some electronics...

Just noticed the note about the C02 tank, local brewers can fill those? Bring a growler and your air tank to get filled at the same time?!

It is. On the note about part availability, how are the pads and rotors? Standard parts, or would I need to buy from the supplier? Right now, I usually just buy the best set of pads that AutoZone offers for their lifetime warranty. I have had it where I accidently got oil on them, or just felt...

I would love to hear about your experience with the new brake setup. I'm finding the brakes on my 07 are ok but lacking. Recently I replaced the brake hoses with some (future lift friendly) SS braded lines and rebuilt the front calipers due to an occasional sticking of the driver side. And of...

Nice stool! I bought one of these about a year or two ago, after learning this was a thing. https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/81166/10002/-1?_br_psugg_q=topside+creeper It's pretty cheaply made for the most part, but it works great. I modified mine a bit with extra height selection holes, and...

yeah, it sounds like my problem. I speak my mind, and when someone acts like a fool I call them out on it. :ROFLMAO: My neighbor is the one that really got me to start re-thinking my choices in regard to standing up to people. I can describe the family with two words: Crazy & narcissistic...

I think you nailed it on the head and explained much better than I could have. I try to live by the rule "Treat others how I expect to be treated". John Wayne Quote came to mind when typing that. “I won’t be wronged. I won’t be insulted. I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these...

No deed goes unpunished there. I was at a boat ramp on strawberry reservoir where I saw an old man sitting there in his very small boat. Parked right along side where the boats come in with a clear "Don't park boat here" type of sign. Sign has an image of boats hitting boats showing "don't park...

I made a girl laugh when my jeep was doing the death wobble. My jeep came with 29in tires w/16in wheels, I'm pretty sure the wheels and tires were off of a jeep liberty. man, just they didn't look right. :ROFLMAO: I'm thinking the swap was an attempt by the PO to reduce the effect of that death...

Cool, what I was thinking is going with a selectable locker for the rear and go either with none or the truetrac for the front. that would leave me open to upgrade the front axle later on, assuming I ever find a need that is. Plus I get an extra button! Over the last weekend when at the...

I take it you wouldn't recommend mixing and matching. Like a E or Air locker in the rear, and the truetrac in the front?

Yup, the J.e.e.p. part has me smiling when I pull out my wallet. :ROFLMAO: Doing everything I can to hold back on those BFG 35in tires I want, reminding myself I need gears at a minimum before I start making it look cool. Gears of course mean I need a locking differential... 🐈‍⬛

I had an absolute hoot of a time over the weekend. Top off and doors off resulted in a little too much sun, but I needed the vitamin D. :alien: :ROFLMAO: First time going offroad with the Jeep, and I have to say I am an absolute fan of how well it handled. Last solid axle 4x4 I had was an...

Mike, I can confirm that the jeep is 100% fixed now. I got it up to about 80mph, and then hit some badly patched sections of I15 that nearly rattled me into the next lane. No death wobble!
