    ZMotorsports Shop Projects 2.0

Looking fantastic Mike! Don't worry about rushing too much, it would be nice to have it for this weekend. But if not that's fine too, just knowing it's being done correctly is good enough for me. As for getting projects done within a specified timeframe, I hear ya. I remember a few years ago I...

I'll also note that the engine block from a Wrangler that Mike did the cam bearings (and cylinder hone) on earlier this year (and in this thread) was also this Jeep. Mike did a fantastic job with it. Chrysler did a weird thing and made it so you HAD to install the bearings in one direction, and...

3M super 33! I had some jokes I shared with friends and family while I waited for you to have some time. "fixed with the finest electrical tape" as I explained why I won't drive it on the freeway. I'm also glad to see that staking held up. :ROFLMAO: 👽

Mike, you're always worth the wait. (y) I forgot to warn you about the electrical tape "patch", I'm surprised it held up as well as it did. :ROFLMAO: And it actually did "fix" the death wobble for the most part, however I could still feel the front axle shifting. It was a very odd sensation.

Probably the wrong place to post this, but I might have a job where i need your assistance Mike. So long story short, I saw a hint of brass sparkles right before i did the camshaft, lifters, oil pump, and timing chain on my old 5.3 tahoe... I dismissed it for the most part since i...

Thanks guys. I'm probably going to use Mike's shop as a general template. My wife would love to park in the garage one day. :D Right now it's a two car garage, extra tall and long... One side is all tools, other side usually houses the current project or the vette. Roof of the garage is...

I'm new here, my name is Chris. Interesting to see everyone's projects. I have been slowly working on my own garage setup, been thinking about expanding into my backyard for some time now. Might still be a few years down the road before i get something nice setup. :pimpflash

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Doing a cam swap on a 5.3 gen IV LS (DOD Delete). Found i had a broken exhaust bolt, figured while i have the heads off I might as well fix that bolt. "Easy Out" was not so easy... Ended up breaking it off in the bolt, now making it impossible to drill out any further. :dunno:

Paying the price for helping neighbor

I tried to help a neighbor with his Deere riding mower, had a lean pulse when running high idle and no load. I ended up breaking a screw on it, me feeling terrible i spent a good $50 out of my pocket to fix it and to fix his lean pulsing issue while i was at it. I refused to take any money from...
