I've been looking at these portable jumpers for awhile...so many brands and price points. Are these "better" than the others? I have a JNCAir 1700 which has been great the handful of times i've needed it but lugging it around isn't always easy.

I've been looking for a portable jump starter for awhile now. What makes these so much better than the rest? GB40 is what I am thinking about purchasing.

Main ones I get are through the rewards program...usually always require a certain dollar amount to be spent first...and has to be at a specific store... in fact just got an ace anniversary coupon...5$ off 20$ purchase...supposed to use at my local store but i'm going to try it out at another...

These were on sale a few months ago...I regretably passed...hmm...

I ordered one for store pick up. Went and picked it up and it was wrapped In The original packaging I assume from when they received it. Get it home and open it up and there were two in the package... Going to call them so they can update their stock and I can return one to a closer store...

How is the "grip" on them? Did they get wet while you detailed - were they slippery? I am thinking about getting them to better reach the top of my vehicles but my driveway has a bit of a slope to it.
