On my receipts there is always a portion of the discount divided amongst all of the items. If an item was returned you received a credit for the amount of that item And only that portion/percentage of the credit was removed.

I wouldn't be able to pay that price knowing a day earlier it was significantly less. Unless you need it i'd wait and shop around.
