You can't be serious, I'm giving away TWO toolboxes?

oh man would i love to have one of those boxes. unfortunately, unless i win the lotto, i'd never be able to afford one of those boxes. hell, i could not even afford one over the 1k range. sadly, this year, the retail for one of these boxes is about 1/5th of what i'm gonna bring home this year...

Anybody still using these older craftsman drills?

i've bought a couple of the older all aluminum housing drills and skill saws for just a few dollars a piece. they are pretty easily rebuilt and run very well. after having a nice battery operated set **** out when i needed them, i decided i was done with cordless tools.

    Third party car repair warranties

since the warranty i previously mentioned covered some pretty hefty repairs on the malibu i had, and the repairs costing more than the warranty cost me, AND, my not having to not one damn cent out of pocket...... i'd have to say "you're the bigger ******* on the face of the earth" for making...

i'm the same with older gauges, especially things usually associated with carbed engines. when i got this 85 s-15 a while back, i started picking up this stuff, but did need a timing light, so i bought the next lower model than this one for 85 bucks. ended up taking it back. since then, i've...

huge score at the swap meet tonight

yep, just another exciting friday night. dropped by the local swap meet on the way back from dropping off some 70's audio gear that i repaired for a friend. i'd have to say that this stop was probably the most profitable for the least i've ever spent there. all the sockets are snap on. the...

    Third party car repair warranties

i had an aftermarket warranty on a 2000 malibu that i had bought in 03 just before the factory warranty ran out. i can't remember who it was through though. i do remember that when i was shopping, one of the key points was looking for the warranty that listed what they did NOT cover versus what...

Time-Sert 1812CORE kit... GM 3.1/3.4 rocker bolt hole repair.

i had a 2000 malibu that developed the intake leak and luckily, we caught it before it destroyed the engine. if i recall, that repair itself at the dealer was in the area of about 900 bucks, but we had an after market warranty that was well worth the 1200 we paid because we had other dumb...

    Rust removal from chromed tools

sos pads would be all you would need. if i may ask, why in the world would you even want to leave the rust on if you take off some chrome? i ask because eventually, the rust will do that for you anyway.

3 snap-on mt831 ignition analyzers. (anyone have a user's manual?) 1 snap-on f710d ratchet. can't find a date code on it anywhere. there is NOT a marking between the on-off letters by the selector, which is plastic by the way. 1 snap-on f831 ratchet. and the 1/2" ingersoll rand 110 volt...

    let's discuss air tools

i've done a couple searches and unless i am entering incorrect terms, nothing specific to air tools is coming up less the specific brand and specific type, i.e. ir impact wrench. anyways, in my quest to build up a tool collection, i've picked up a couple of air tools this weekend. one item is...

    1st purchase off a truck

first report of actual use. so today, i picked up a set of '89 camaro wheels. after having the tires mounted and balanced, i decided to level out the rear of the truck with the front since it was about 2 1/2" higher. this is where the go thru set came in. torquing down the u-bolt nuts with...
