I am mainly interested in the side box, but what can anyone tell me about value, size and what not about this box. It's a local sale and I am curious to value mainly so I know if price is reasonable and age for the things such as roller slides, total square inches and what not. Thanks!

Not all of them. Slides either need cleaning and lube or replacement.

With a box that size and weight empty, I'm not sure with it's age how you could find one that's been used without them. I'd be wondering how many door dings that thing has created....lol

If I recall correctly, the Cornwell I have is about 18k cubic inches and this Snap On is about 22k. I could certainly use the extra space in the future and the work area available on top now.

So, obviously, taking a "square" might be a good idea? I talked to the seller and he stated that some of the slides are worn. What are the cost of the slides? If I have to buy some tools to get this fixed if I get it, I'm good with that. Locks are obviously gone and will need to be replaced...

I certainly will have to check the slides and what not to see if they are actually broken. Could possibly be gummed up, but who really knows for sure. I'm going back and forth with seller now to see if we can work a potential trade.
