The vinyl backed insulation is the waterproof barrier. I am curious how windows are installed in a metal building. Metal buildings are a common place that this style of insulation is used. Sorry I don't have any drawings on my phone. I will try to get some later

I know how to install a window but I'm currently working on my shop that has vinyl backed insulation (white vinyl facing in and fiberglass out). I'm curious what the process for sealing up a window is since I can't tape over the insulation? How do the metal building guys do it? Mine is wood...

Started on the roof around 10:30 this morning and got this done by dark. The back is to the same point as the front.

Thanks! This will be full time residence! Got half of the roof in today! The rain held off thankfully! Sunday I gave a crew comin down to lend a hand and should finish the roof! Rain is in the forecast tomorrow! I'll post pics later!

The building overall is 48x26 and the room on the end is 16x26 (this will be a glorified master bedroom while we build).

Digging holes. The main structure is a post building but the end walls are framed up. I had my reasons for doing it like this. It seems to be working pretty well!

The pictures may be a bit out of order. While the milling was taking place we were also setting post, spreading gravel and building forms!

The operation after a few days of work. Siding is stacked to the right and the beams are out of the picture on the left. It is amazing what this bandsaw mill is capable of!
