    How many threads past the nut?

    I was have used this..my dad said it should stick out at least the diameter of the bolt. Personally I think 3 would be Adequate but in my work I see a lot of tapered bolts. So… more needs to stick out.

    Dremel EZ Lock cut off disc’s

    Not a fan of the ez locks.. they tend to get off center and vibrate if you get a little side load on the disc. Maybe it’s just me but I can buy a lot of the cheap ones. I like the fiber ones though.

    Air hammer… rattle the end and putting pressure with a wrench. Surprisingly works well. thanks Andy (rip) for teaching me this and a million other things.

    How much land do you need to not have "visible" neighbors?

    I have .5. Surrounded on three side by a fairly thick forest about 10 ft wide almost 30 ft on the road side. back side backs up on a forest preserve… I don’t see anyone In the summer. Winter yep some. but I like my neighbors. We help each other.. genuinely nice people. Guy down the street…...

    Are 1/4" drive impact sockets not particularly useful or worth the expense?

    I use 1/4 all the time. I do use the sunnex impacts seem to work well. My SO air ratchet works fine for most stuff. 1/4 air line and a swivel for air on the ratchet gets me in there. Inside the car or if I’m away from air bits on my battery powered drill.
