    Time to upgrade the shop tunes. Been bugging me that I had to plug in to listen to music. If I needed to use my phone to take a picture or use a calculator I had to in plug it or walk across the shop. So I'm going Bluetooth. Should be able to hit the signal from the media computer. I'll post...

    Jump packs. Wich one do you choose?

    We use a deep cycle marine battery with some jumper cables attached to battery clamps. Welded up a dolly. Been working great for years. It has a disconnect on one of the battery clamps.

    Light Post for front of house..

    Changed out my front light. Liked it so much added them to the back deck. Found 5 volts to be too bright. Knocked them down to three. Works well. I get a lot of compliments.

    Worked on some pieces of a larger project. Needed a small project box. Found a mentos container. Should work.

    a two channel is fine for all but the most advanced stuff. I have one, only once have i need to use more than two channels.

    agree^^^ the older snappy vantage can be picked up very cheaply. not a true scope but for simple stuff works. the pico is a solid professional scope. a good one will cost you. not something i would buy used unless i could test it first.

    Most of the tool manufactures have a student program. Look into them. All of them are a good deal. I find Mateos the easiest to work with. If this is something he's going to do full time. He should take advantage of the discount.

    Had a dewalt that stunk. I was glad when that thing died. Funny now I smell tools before I buy them. I try to be nonchalant about it.

    I have one in the shop now at least very close. Used as an alignment rack. Look around for the turn plates. It looks like the two sides aren't going up even. This my not be a problem. On mine sometimes the two sides get out of sink. The lift safety's will lock it out. The fix is to push...

    Air tool psi

    I use a regulator. Generally 120 psi. However I turn it down for some stuff. Nail guns.air saw. 1/4 ratchet. Small pin nailer runs at 60.

    Honestly the little screwdriver. Or chisel or pry bar or fingernail cleaner... Although the hammer ratchet... Million dollar idea right there.

    Oldwiz the one I like and is my go to tool is https://www.autoenginuity.com/ absolutely pro level stuff Works well updates are reasonable Ford only is I think 400 or so. Handles global well. It is a more expensive option.

    In all of the ones I have looked at and purchased over the years. I'd say none would be the number that always worked on every car. They all have their quirks. We run several autels I find them to be slow on some cars. Ford comes to mind. I have also found several mistakes in vw and Toyota...
