CAT gets the thumbs up from me. Another brand to consider is Fortress from Harbor freight, they seem to be very nice units and possibly even a step up from CAT.

I'll throw in another vote for Tekton. I've been impressed with all the tools I purchased from them. The sockets are very good quality, and their ratchets are excellent especially considering the price point.

They are a good buy. I believe the sockets are made in Taiwan, and the impact adapter is made in Japan. Can't go wrong with that set for the price.

I have the 3/8 metric set of these sockets, they are really nice. Koken makes excellent sockets, I've been impressed with everything I've bought from them so far. BTW, koken has several socket sets offered with the surface drive design.
