You nailed it! The auctioneers here go between 12-15% commission, and sales tax is collected, unless you are exempt. No auctioneer in at least a 50 mile radius charges a buyers premium, but have seen it on industrial / commercial sales, Using some outside the area auctioneer.

I've always heard Justrites had spotty quality, but I have a few that work great. I use mine to do chores after dark sometimes...just to be different.

The 10% buyers premium would piss me right off. I hit a lot of auctions, but damned if I'm paying a 10% markup on something. The auctioneer gets a percentage of the sale, why give another 10%? We live in the age of the ******** fee.
