    While struggling with my my th350 rebuild, I de to take a break from it and work on cleaning up the engine compartment to prep for paint before putting the engine and transmission back in. Still several months away from that day.

    The TH350 rebuild begins. I bought a book as this is my first turn rebuilding a transmission. Homestly, I’m looking forward to it. It was running fine, other than leaking. Figured I’d rebuild it while the engine is getting rebuilt, I’m sending that out for someone else to do.

    Thanks. I plan on doing a meticulous rebuild. I bought a book, a master rebuild kit, and additional components to replace. Honestly, I’m looking forward to it.

    I thought the C10 needed a carb rebuild and new points, nope, the camshaft in the decided to go flat. Didn’t see that one coming, now I’m pulling the engine for a rebuild.

    Finishing up putting the rebuilt carb, new distributor parts, and freshly painted intake manifold and valve covers back on the C10.

    ☹️ That *****, I can understand. I have a 2001 Chevy truck that I bought brand new off the lot. I can’t imagine ever getting rid of it. The shifter at least will give you a visual reminder.
