Cool Craigslist Find If You Move Your Box A Lot

How so?? It offers quite a bit more support for the box than the 4 casters. It looks like it also offers lateral stabilization to the sides of the box as well. Educate me on how more support will make things wear out faster.

Cool Craigslist Find If You Move Your Box A Lot

Looks like a well thought out design if you have to move your box a lot or move it around on an unfinished floor. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/tls/802311417.html I don't need it, but thought it was a cool item that someone else here might be interested in.

    Rolling "bin" ??

I would pick up one of these: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=97541 Then cut off the upright bars a few inches below the bottom of the top tray and attach the casters right there. It looks like the casters just have friction mounts that go inside the upright...

    Anybody heard of Toptul?

I just emailed Mike with a few questions and in less than 2 minutes my cellphone was ringing. Mike was a great guy to talk to and very upfront about the tools and his inventory. I deal with multiple manufacturer reps every day and so far it seems like Mike has what it takes to make it in the...

    For Professional Carpenters

For a job that size I would just use a sharp keyhole saw. If it were a bigger area I would take a short sawzall blade and put it into the sawzall backwards. This allows you to keep the blade a lot closer to parallel with the wall because the handle of the sawzall isn't getting in the way. With...

Let's See Your Recent eBay Purchases!

I think the prybars and the mini pick/screwdriver/torx came as a discounted set when I bought from the truck around 6 years ago. They were not part of the haul, but added just to throw some more orange handles into the mix. A side question: Is rust on the prybars part of the Snap-On lifetime...

Let's See Your Recent eBay Purchases!

Unfortunately their is no sticker anywhere on the cart (the Blue-Point is a black sticker, so maybe its not really a bluepoint cart?). Also it originally came with cheap metal bars instead of shocks, so I am trying to upgrade it to use shocks.

Let's See Your Recent eBay Purchases!

Does craigslist count for this thread? I picked up this Blue-Point cart recently off of Craigs List for cheap. Does anyone know if where I can get some gas shocks to replace the hinges for the top cover of the cart? I also included some pics of my Orange SO tools for Moose. Who out there...

    ToolUp.com

I have ordered from this place a few times and have always been surprised with how fast they ship and how low they manage to keep their prices.

Any cool options for outside keypads?

What about using an RFID setup instead of a keypad or fingerprint? The RFID stuff is extremely more accurate and secure than cheap biometrics and you don't have to touch anything if your hands are dirty (except the keychain). At my buddies garage I just mounted the key reader at his his pocket...

Sub panel, feeder, underground conduit, garage wiring and electrical

You may need to up the conduit size from 2" to 3" if you are going all 4/0 wire. The NEC code only allows you to fill a conduit 60%, and those 4/0's will most likely be too large of a wire bundle for 2". If I remeber correctly the latest NEC code book has a quick reference chart to tell the...

Transporting large toolbox in open trailer

I would put a moving blanket or two over the box to protect it from the straps and then shrink wrap the heck out of it. You can find shrink wrap at UPS stores, rental places, and even some Targets. The best thing about the shrink wrap is that it covers the entire moving blanket so you don't...
