Two small or one big air compressor (opinions)

You might want to look into a rotary screw compressor. I bought one at work about 5 years ago and it hasn't let us down yet. Plus you can be in the same room as it because it is nice and quiet. The oil change cost a little more but it is well worth it. We do still have our old compressor for a...

Moisture in the garage during winter. Exhaust fan?

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Its not really the time of year I can test it but I have played with raising/lowering the temps with minimal response. I am looking to tackle the problem before winter so it is not a problem this year. I think I will add a ceiling fan and an exhaust fan. I will...

Moisture in the garage during winter. Exhaust fan?

I have tried a simple house dehumidifier but it wouldn't even keep up. The drains are daylighted to to back yard. I never really have puddles in the garage. I am sure with the in floor heat that it gets evaporated into the air.

Moisture in the garage during winter. Exhaust fan?

I have a 28x32 attached garage. We built 4 years ago and it has been a problem every winter. It is insulated and rocked with in floor heat and 2 trench drains (1 under each vehicle). On a typical day only 1 vehicle gets pulled out. If the roads are sloppy I stop outside and knock the slush off...

Slab is poured, tell me what you think (pic heavy)

I would tell them to tear it up and repour it. Then when they have it torn up tell them to take a hike and get a different crew.

    Creative uses for portable toolboxes

I have two of them in the back of the truck. One has a cheap set of wrenches/sockets/screwdrivers/ect. The other one is a bit bigger and i have a tow strap/jumper cables/receiver hitches/balls in it. I can't have an actual truck tool box in the bed because of the 5th wheel camper. Man I miss my...

    Screens for garage door opening?

my parents have 2 of them for their garage. They use them all the time for having company over. The only thing they have problems with is the velcro doesn"t want to stay on the door frame. They stapled it up and that held for a couple years. Overall i think they are worth it. They have had them...

    Work Light

I second the head lamp. Best invention ever. God should have just mounted one in every mans forehead. I also have a craftsman led work light that throws pretty good light. I think i picked it up at ACE hardware on sale for $20. It is a rechargeable battery that comes with a car charger also.

welder and cutting torch worth it or no

I am in search of a welder for repairs in my hog barns. I don't need anything special as the gasses from the hog manure are hard on electrical and metal. I am tired of running over to our shop at my brothers farm to grab the welder and bring it back over to do the repairs. It would be mostly for...

Crushed concrete or gravel for my driveway?

We are starting to use crushed tar and i am very happy with it. It has only been this summer that we started using it but it packs very nice and stays in place better. Would be worth checking to see if you can get it in your area and the cost.

    Curtain, divider, track options

Just an idea, garage door track and wheels. If you put the flat side down the weight of the curtain might hold the wheels in place from popping out of the track.
