The Craftsman version is newer, and shows "± 1/8 in." I guess that Prexiso version was upgraded to "accuracy to 1/8" ", but they forgot to update the photo on Amazon. :dunno: The Craftsman version also has the advantage of having an aluminum body.

Oh, so a lot more people got the FC banner with an F&F email than with the previous Craftsman sale email. I guess the marketing department recently received a boost with holiday season funds.

Nice find. It's become a chore finding something to spend points before they expire. EDIT: I noticed that Sears is selling the WORKPRO brand of tools on their site, so that led me to this Penlaser manual (similar format to the Craftsman manual). The WORKPRO manual mentions Prexiso, so that led...

When I think about all the wrong items I've received from Sears stores (check return address) over the past couple years, I wonder how many customers they've lost due to such a recurring issue. :headscrat

I posted last week about a meter magnetic holder for $4.94. At the start of the F&F event, I saw it drop to $4.45 (10% off). Before the end of F&F, the online price went up to $5.35. And finally after F&F, it's back down to $4.94. :headshake

Not a deal, but possible new Craftsman tools. Some of the photos seem amateurish, so I thought these boxes were NOS. However, the manuals state "Transform SR Brands Management LLC". Craftsman 27" 4 Drawer Top Chest – Red Craftsman 27" 5 Drawer Rolling Cabinet - Red 41 inch: 53 inch...

The DeWalt set is the only new one for me, but it's showing in stock only at Sears Hometown stores around here. No ship-to-store option for the regular Sears stores. Anyone here use the Craftsman Flex Shaft for Rotary Tool? It was in stock at the local store about two weeks ago, but I didn't...

Another YMMV freecash offer, but this time the Sears email is about the Family & Friends event: Announcement: You're approved for this EXTRA DISCOUNT + MORE (Ends tonight) Again, it's $5 FC for $5+ purchase at Sears or Kmart. Expires 11/11.

Tool prices have increased. As with past Family & Friends events, Sears just can't resist raising online prices before the event ends. :rolleyes2

Considering that Transform Holdco was buying Sears Hometown, I figured that they'd want to save the inventory for those stores. :headscrat I guess Sears Outlet was paying Transform a fantastic amount for this merchandise. As of Oct 23rd, Sears Outlet is owned by Franchise Co and things may change.

Started a mad dash this morning to get in price protections on all my orders for the past month! :eyecrazy: Only got $1.39 back. :( The "Temporarily unavailable" on many product pages killed off some of my opportunities, and some items still available now have higher prices even after F&F discount.

Down to $53.99, or $48.99 after code SAVE5OFF50 (unless they slap on a 'Hot Buy' tag).

    New Craftsman Plant!!!

I haven't seen the USA tools made by Lisle restocked at the local store since the bankruptcy, so I guess they no longer do business with Sears. The last Craftsman set made by Lang in USA is heavily discounted, so it might also be on it's way out of Sears. :dunno:

    New Craftsman Plant!!!

That will be great if the hands tools are really 100% USA, but I don't understand why SBD would alter the facts. The story about the new plant has been around for months, so by now they've had plenty of time to research what to advertise about it. It's strange that their social media...

    New Craftsman Plant!!!

Well, that stinks. Both the set and the open stock were all Made in USA when I was checking out the sale prices at the store about a week ago. I didn't buy them, because my old versions (no strike caps) are still in decent shape. I think I'll stop by again and see if any of the USA ones are...

Can you make comfort grips for ratchets?

    New Craftsman Plant!!!

If you think this is bad, then stay away from the Craftsman Facebook page! I saw someone there try to argue that "global materials" can refer to the packaging. Anyway, I see someone asked a question about the new plant that can help finally settle this matter. Craftsman Facebook 10/29...

    New Craftsman Plant!!!

True. That pry bar set is manufactured by Wilde Tool, and I won't be surprised if that's the last Craftsman product to be sold at retail level with "Made in USA" (no global materials).

Are all the expired online Blowout prices still ringing up in-store at the Blowout price? For example, is that 3 pc. Gasket Scraper Set ringing up $9.94 or $19.99 in-store? Of course, if they forgot to remove the Blowout price tag, then a cashier may still adjust it to the Blowout price for you.
