41" Craftsman box, is this a good way to go?

The model/part number should be inside the first drawer. You can still get parts for it through sears website. The numbers wore off mine long ago and had to do some extensive google-ing to find it

41" Craftsman box, is this a good way to go?

I have the exact same box. Mine is a USA Waterloo from the late 80's. it's built like a tank. Standard drawer slides but if you clean them and grease them good it's not all that bad. I dumped mind off the back of a trailer and it just left scratches. Id take it over a HF box all day

Older radial arm saw on the cheap

GM54210- wow! I had no idea what good blades cost. I'm an aircraft mechanic by trade and don't woodwork as much as wrench turning. I think out of respect for the tool I will clean it up, set it up properly with a new blade and experiment with it (slowly and safely). I really look forward to...

What tool, Job or Task Intimdates you?

I've had to send a 100ft snake down a backed up sewer clean out a few times. I would be just fine if I didn't have to do that anymore (I'm sure I will). I smelled like **** for 3 days

It is a black & decker/dewalt 7740. Is that a good one or was it a cheaper saw in its day?

Older radial arm saw on the cheap

Hello GJ! Recently picked this up at a flea market for $20! Works good, just needs a new blade. I've never used on of these before so a couple of questions... 1. I have a compound miter saw and I was shopping around for a nice table saw. Does this make a good replacement for either? 2. Ive...

    Craftsman Disappointment

I think I bought USA Craftsman raised panel wrenches and sockets just in time before 100% of their inventory goes oversees. I love both, however; I have the polished pro ratchets and not real happy. The 1/4 skips teeth in both directions. As for the rest of the box, Ive had to mix brands to...

    Let's see your toolbox.

New to this forum. I love this place 1980's craftsman rebranded Waterloo. Bought it in Philly for 200 and spent the weekend sanding it down and painting. Built like a tank. Came loaded with really big diesel caterpillar hand tools. Sold some of them off.
