Sorry to be a Pain, but those I beams are alot deeper than 12", I understand there spaced on 12" centres, but I blow up one of your photo's and comparing them to the sizes to the 6x2 studs there at least 14" maybe even 16" tall..... I have 12" I beams in my house and they look alot smaller...
