    EBay Quiz

Tell me why this auction is at $47 and will probably go well over $75? I think I know why, look close. Any guesses? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140200848582&rd=1

    Snap-on F831 Vs. FLF936

Missing a few marbles, I was born with 50 and after Beer, Ganja, Wife, and Kids, I'm down to 6. I'm hoping to misplace those some so I can draw a check from my Uncle Sam.:bounce:

    $76.50 + $6.95 shipping

On the older(F830 series and older)SO ratchets the pawl had "*******" on both sides giving it support from both sides of the head. On the F830 series the back plate is countersunk(is that a word:headscrat)for the ******. This is just my opinion, from my experience.

    $76.50 + $6.95 shipping

I'm worried about the internal makeup because I DO use them. The new style SO ratchets are for a FACT closer in design to a Craftsman than the older SO ratchets, the only difference being the reverse lever. The face plate support is what set SO apart from other ratchets.

    $76.50 + $6.95 shipping

I wouldn't pay $2 for one like this model anyway, they basically have the same guts as a Craftsman. The pawl doesn't engage the face plate like the F730 or the F830, there's more than 1 reason SO calls these maintenance free, they don't want people taking these apart.

Cool Old Wiiliams Tool on EBay

I used to have one of these, but I sold mine a EBay to. It's a nutdriver/1/4 ext. The unusual thing about this tool is the knurled part will slide back and allow the center piece to spin free, when using it as an ext. I bet the final price will surprise you. I'll say $30 total...

Rebuilt the SL710 ratchet long post

I rebuilt this old 1967 ratchet, what all colors are available for the dust cover. All I could find was black. Anyone know why some Snap-on ratchets of this era are missing a date stamp?
