    Tax Bill

In Oklahoma a 100% service connected disabled vet pays no property tax. The first year after this passed save me a lot of money. After I built my 960 Sq.Ft. shop the assessor's rep showed up and took pictures and measurements. At first he did not understand why he was greeted so nicely, then I...

    Hanging style heater help

I acquired an older peerless unit heater (Model LUH 50c.) The cover with the wiring diagram was the only part missing. I can easily make a new cover , but I am in dire need of the wiring diagram. Some of the wires were not hooked up.

    Griotts garage lighting

It is a T5 fixture with a newer style lamp. Just do a Google search on the word "triphosphor." One place is the GE Lamp site: http://www.gelighting.com/apo/products/lighting/fluorescent/01.htm, the fixture seems to match this: http://www.aeilighting.com/t5l234.htm

    Low Cost Cooling

Is there a system for adding a dedicated blower and housing into my existing duct system? It is hot here in Oklahoma, but some nights cool off well so turning off the AC and still having air come into the house through existing ducts would be great. Also, changing the air out in the house would...

    Drill/ Impact Combo Suggestions?

I built a 24' X 40' weld-up metal shop building and used my 18 volt Ryobi impact driver to run all of the several thousand screws it took for the sides, roof and trim. I don't know how any one can make one any better. And by the way for the late nights the little LED light was useful.

Picture Request - OSB Interior Walls

I had to pickup some conduit clamps at Lowe's, I walked through the lumber aisles and something caught my eye. There was a stack of 7/16 OSB with a camouflage overlay on one side. Maybe it would work to hide new tools from the wife.

    Barn door cover

I have home built carriage doors. For my outside sheeting I went to a local metal building fabricator and they cut my pieces to measurement (this roll steel at 24 gauge) and hemmed the outside edges. Works well for me.

    thoughts on PB Blaster ?

I use PB all the time and it does work well, however it smells like toxic waste. I had wasps in an eave right outside my garage and somehow I stirred them up, in my hand was a can of PB Blaster, the wasps fell dead to the ground with just one spray.:shocking:
