Need Advise: Synthetic Stucco vs Hard Coat/Traditional

I'm away from my place at the moment... if I were there, I'd snap a few pics of buildings along the bike path we ride. Newish buildings with synthetic stucco. They look great... until the woodpeckers move in. They peck holes completely through the "stucco" and into the foam. A wall of one...

We bought a new JD rider a few years back... 25 hp Kawasaki engine. Operator's manual stated... use premium, non-ethanol fuel. Been using that since day 1 and no problems. At that time, I decided it wasn't worth the effort to try to store 2 different types of gasoline... premium for the lawn...

...Night and day difference already! It's amazing what a bit of soap and (elbow) grease can do! It's lookin' like a Jeep! I've always liked that style of wheel... OEM on later model Wranglers. I looked everywhere to find some for my CJ... I found wide ones that wouldn't bolt up... and narrow...

    Building Walls

Your plan sounds like it will work. The OSB will also help stiffen the sheet rock which will help resist damage when it's accidently bumped. I've used your plywood girt (strip) method in a similar situation and it worked well. ...D

Nice score on the lift! You're finding your share of good stuff... despite the boot fairs being marginal recently. As far as the steering wheel... depends a lot on which way you're headed... styling, exterior/interior colors, etc. The OEM on my CJ is similar to the one, upper left... except...

NOOB, Raising ceiling height in shop? Can you help?

I helped my buddy build his shop almost 20 years ago. 28' x 40' with 2" x 4" trusses 24" O/C. This is in central Wyoming... an area with a potential for wind and snow loads. Your building seems built on the "light" side. Its hard for me to comprehend 2" x 4" trusses, 36' long on 4'...

A second spool of thread (called a bobbin) is located under the base of the machine. A cylindrical device rotates beneath the base, timed with the action of the needle. As the needle pierces the fabric, pushing the thread below the base, the rotating cylinder grabs the thread from the bobbin...

Nice work on the doors and floors! Everything is coming along nicely! The price of lumber is getting insane. When I first got back to Wyoming, I complained about having to pay $16+ a sheet for OSB, a week or so later, it went to nearly $20. I've had to change my plans on a building project...

Looks to be a worthy project... Congrats! The compressor shed came out nicely. I'm guessing that will free up considerable space in your garage. Well Done! Haven't heard anything of wasps for a few days now... I think that means you've won. If your place is like ours, it'll be an annual...
