Today I started the back wall with steel siding, hopefully a little better then the stone work.

Finished the stone work , sill's installed and stone grouted. I didn't enjoy this step too much.

Finished the soffits and have moved on to the cultured stone for the front

Had a two month break getting caught up on the house and yard work, time to start the soffits, I used metal and a little disapointed in the look.

Passed rough electrical inspection, wired some temporary pigtails and put in GFI protected outlets. Sorry guys slow progress, trying to finish out of pocket.

Rough wiring is complete, decided on 20 (48" 2 bulb T-8 fixtures) 12 in the bays parallel to cars and 8 fixtures in shop area. I hope I coverd everything for wiring. Attic door is installed, I thing it will work fine.

I have a EDPM black rubber roof approx 15 years old also, and yes problems are as stated usually around the edges pulling away usually in the fall when temps drop. Seams that open up can be reparied just like a rubber inner tube you need the right materials. Go to a roofing supply house and get...

The welder outlets are going in 2 gang boxes, would I just do the same for the compressor. And what is the main purpose of the disconnect ? Is it just a big switch that can be locked out. Sorry for acting stupid !! I just want to do this once and right

yes, even if they both could turn on say one of my permenant lights. other wise for there lights two outlets in the cieling and two seperate lights . Conventional openers would have lights on them so it wouldn't be a question, but these openers mount to the torsion shaft. And again looking for...

wiring my garage now and planning on two liftmaster 3800 openers, I wanted a unclutterd ceiling so would like to have one light operate off both openers. I contacted liftmaster their optional light needs a receptacle and would come on by radio signal from opener but both cannot operate one light...

Slow progress, installed subpanels in the house and garage, now have power in the garage :lol: Installing the outlet boxes and planning for the lights. This part I hate becuase I always think I forgot something or could have been layed out better.

planning on T8's 48" bulbs, ideas on placement would be Great. Thinking on down the center between the bays and on either side of each bay, and some in the shop area. Cieling height is 10' and 10' up to 14' at the peak of the truss. I can't do anything with drawings so here are some pictures...

Framed in the loft this past weekend with 2x6,s and left a opening for a 42" insulated steel door which I had already cut down. I need to decide on a wall covering so I can start mounting electric boxes. Metal wall liner sounds nice but might dent up easily, but nice for water as I do want to...

The roof pitch is 6/12 giving me 65.5" from floor to the trusses, at least I can stand between the trusses when up there and don't have to be hunched over. As far as foundation prep, lots of compacted crushed stone.

Applied some 29 guage metal to overhead door frames and applied the weather strip, also wrapped the frame on the entry door. Now at least weather tight for the winter. :)

Only progress lately is the overhead doors.

Doors finally came in and where installed yesterday, the end result, the tracks hang down 21" from ceiling. Might have been better to order the highlift,and ceiling pitch tracks. Who knows I might never see a lift anyway not being a mechanic. :)
