We got lucky with the small hammer and was able to get to the grade we needed, here are some of the rocks.

After stumps and rock removel, mound needed to be leveled, tried compact tractor which started out good till we hit some hardy rocks, not that I was surprized not to much dirt around here. I had to get some larger equipment which still had trouble.

The garage build site was was started in november 2010 with one big problem, a large boulder on the mound which needed to be removed where the garage is to go. Here are some pictures.

I will be pouring a monolithic slab in about a week looking for recomendations on saw cutting slab. size is 30 x 40 right side of garage will be poured flat left side between two overheads have a slight pitch to 40" trench drain. I don't know if this layout is best?

the soffits seems to match the metal siding very well, along with the door trim is it metal also from same supplier ?

It's been awhile since I installed mine 21 years ago. 7/8 might be more work but is possible, I ran some in between floor joist 16" on center, and some in concrete can't remember 16" or 24" centerd.
