I did a clear shop curtain. Very important to make sure you get something with a fire rating. Shop curtains by definition fit the bill. I posted pics of my install somewhere on here. Stay tuned.

When you have a two car garage and one bay is for the car and the other bay is your work shop, you have a problem. Any time you need to weld, grind, sand, polish or cut something, the car needs to protected. That means pull the car out of the garage or do the work outside of the garage. If the...

Me too! These are Sprayit model 460's. Built in the mid to late 40's. Single cylinder with an internal reserve tank. 45 psi is max, CFM's ??? No clue but it can't be more than 2 or 3. :bounce: I will be restoring mine soon. Love the look of these compressors!

Yep, flush mount is the way to go. Especially so if the vehicle is dead and needs to be pushed over the lift.

CL find and it still works. It's a Sprayit model. 1946 ish.

Scored this beauty today and it works! Best I can tell is that it is a 1946 Sprayit. I'm basing that off of the model number 466 ?? It maybe older, it's hard to tell because I can not find pictures of another one exactly like this. Anyway, I'm stoked! Plan on fully restoring it, stay tuned...

Thanks all. I bought a new compressor. It will be delivered this week. For those of you that think rusty tanks don't explode, please search it up on youtube. Here is my new replacement.

Thanks, it is a vertical and I am guilty as charged. I rarely drained it. Learned my lesson, from this point on I will have an auto drain. It's a pin hole leak so there isn't much to see in a picture :) Good idea on checking CL. Thanks.
